What, if anything, did you gain by reading this book? Should I use it again some time with another class in the month of March? Why or Why not? By reading this book, I have gained so many information on vocabulary. For example, I have learned that idiosyncrasies means unique habits. When I first heard the word, I thought that it meant crazy things or crazy habits, but it doesn't. So that's one thing that I gained from reading this book. There's actually other vocabulary words in hear that can help you with you vocabulary, but I just wrote one. I also gained information about elevators, which may help me in the real world.

Student Question: What about this book amazed, interested or stood out to you as you read? Something that amazed me when I first started reading the book was how three young orphans could be passing through horrible things. For example, there parents died in a fire, there aunt Josephine got eaten by leeches as she was taking care of them, and lastly there being haunted by Count Olaf. He is a greedy man who just wants the children's fortune and he will do anything to get his hands on it even if it means disguising himself as a women. He has tried many times to get there fortune, but the orphans always figure out that he's Count Olaf ,from his shiny eyes to skinny body figure he never fools the the children (Baundeliers). They always have a way to tell if it's Count Olaf or not, because he has a tattoo of an eye on his ankle, so that gives them a benefit on how to prove if it's Count Olaf or not.
